FAQ for Student Technical Support Services For Ai Plus Students

These FAQs have been developed to answer questions you may have about the expanded technical support services available to Art Institutes Plus students beginning with the start of Summer I online classes. 1.    Why are you now expanding technical assistance?

We are expanding technical support services to better assist students as they pursue their education from an Art Institutes  school. Now, you only need one number (1.866.642.2711) to reach personalized assistance with your technical questions. This is just a part of our overall commitment to student success.

2.    When are these technical support services available?

On June 28th, prior to the start of Summer I online courses, our new technical support assistance will launch. Live support assistance will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


3.    Where do I call or email for technical support?

4.    Generally when can I expect a response if I submit an email request to Student Technical Support?

Student Technical Support will respond to support emails within 24-48 hours; however, we recommend that you contact us by phone. Technical troubleshooting is more efficient and less frustrating if we have a chance to work with you over the phone.

5.    What information will I need when I call or email for assistance?

When you call 1.866.642.2711, you will be asked to verify your status as a student. Please have your student ID or social security number available, and the representative will begin to assist you with your questions.

6.    What type of technical assistance is available to me?

Technical support can assist you with many technical issues, including:

•    My Campus Student Portal username or password problems and navigation
•    Digital Bookshelf setup and navigation
•    Gmail access
•    Online classrooms or document upload assistance
•    Hardware requirements and computer configuration
•    Operating system and browser issues

7.    Where do I go for support of campus equipment (printers, campus computers, labs, wireless, etc.)?

Contact your local IT department or helpdesk on campus.

8.    Whom do I contact for non-technical questions or assistance?

At this time, Student Technical Support is unable to answer questions regarding financial aid, academic issues, or course assignments. For non-technical assistance, please contact the appropriate financial aid, academic advising, and registration departments at your campus for assistance.
